Toe Curling Confidence - Monthly Mini-Session at Central Peterborough ( TBC)

February 29, 2012 from 6pm to 8:30pm

If that saying that "no" word is something you need to practice put this session…See More

Tell us some more about yourself
Although I have lived and worked in Peterborough for the past 24 years - I have never really felt a strong sense of belonging or affinity with the city. As part of previous roles with the city council I worked passionately to improve opportunities and outcomes for children and young people. Recently I moved away to write a novel for young adults - although I know there are lots of creative people in the city - in my opinion this demonstrated something that's lacking here - an open and accessible creative community spirit. I hope that by becoming involved in Citizen Power I can help to develop this for many more poeple in the city.
