Our interim report, Citizen Power in Peterborough: One year on, has just been launched, and provides an overview of the programme’s successes and challenges to date.
Commenting on the report, Gillian Beasley, Chief Executive of Peterborough City Council, said, “This is about long-term change in the culture of our city and about civic pride… We hope that in a short space of time, other cities will look to Peterborough as a shining example of how ordinary people were able to embrace ‘citizen power’ and have a much bigger say in the running of their city.”
